thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. It was another busy week around here! With football, friends, the Jewish New Year and a visit to Peloton-I was running around this week!

Football, Friends, New Year & Peloton

Sunday-Philadelphia Eagles football game

While there was no formal exercise today, there was a lot screaming, yelling and jumping up and down. Attending a Philadelphia Eagles game in person is always a real experience. We started with tailgating and then headed into the game with a crazy finish.

Monday-45 min legs and core

I was happy to be back at it with Andy and Peloton for week 4. Leg day is always challenging but I love it. The rest of the day was spent doing prep for Rosh Hashanah tomorrow. After a few nice weeks of cooler temps, It is back to feeling like summer again. No thank you.

weekly run down

Tuesday-chest and tri + core strength + Rosh Hashanah

Happy New Year to those who celebrate Rosh Hashanah today. I got up early (for me) to get my strength workout in before heading to synagogue for services. I would like to think that God was looking out for me today as walked out of services and checked my phone. To  my surprise, I saw an email from Peloton telling me that I was off the waitlist and into Matty’s class in NYC on Friday. Happy new year to me!

weekly run down

We hosted our family for dinner tonight with our apples and honey theme. I was very excited about these apple candles!

weekly run down

Wednesday-back and biceps + power walk

I was exhausted this morning and had a lot to clean up after last night. The clean up is always the hardest part! That did not stop me from getting gin my day 3 workout and then meeting a friend for an afternoon walk. It was so muggy and humid-not a fan.

Thursday-shoulders and triceps strength + cycle + travel to NYC

I finished up my week 4 of Andy’s strength program today before we headed to the train station to catch ours and head up to NYC. That evening we got in a lot of walking before and after our yummy dinner.

Friday-so much walking + in studio Peloton class

Taking an in studio Peloton class at the “mother ship” is so much fun! I loved my “walk and talk” with Matty. The class flew by as Matty talked about a range of pop culture happenings. He always makes me smile. After class, it’s like a Disney meet and greet. Matty was so nice!

weekly run down

NYC

I spent the rest of day shopping and walking all over the city clocking in over 13 miles! Later, I met my favorite New Yorker, Cari, for dinner.

weekly run down

Saturday-walking all around the city!

Today we spent walking around union square area and then midtown visiting with a few different friends. I was going to hit the hotel the gym but my body seemed to need a rest. Sunday I have another in person Peloton class!

That’s a wrap on another busy week!!

Oh how fun!!! I LOVE Matty! What a week for you- lots going on. I “celebrated” Rosh Hashanah by sleeping two extra hours since there was no school, lol. Nice job getting in all the workouts as usual!
