thanks for joining me and Kim for the weekly run down. It was another busy week around here ending in a weekend visit to Philly aka the Eagles Nest. Here’s a peek into my week of fitness of fun.

Weekly Run Down

Sunday-3 mile power walk

It was a beautiful morning for a weighted vest power walk with a friend. Later, it was time for some Eagles Football and a fun win.

Monday-legs and core strength + power walk

Never miss a Monday! I do love a great hard strength day to start off the week. Later it was a sweaty power walk followed by dinner with the girls for a friend’s birthday.

Monday strength

Tuesday-chest and triceps strength + power walk + stretch

Day 2 of my strength program is chest and strength. Oh so many push ups! I did increase my weights on my chest press which felt good. Later, I dodged some rain showers and got out for a 3.5 mile walk.

Enjoy this beautiful photo taken by my son’s girlfriend Anna on her evening run

Wednesday-biceps and back strength + tread walk

It was a rainy day over here again so my power walk took place on the tread. Wednesdays are for biceps and back strength.

Thursday-shoulders and triceps strength

This workout is always tough after accumulating soreness all week. I was running around like a crazy person today! I helped my son in his new apartment then raced out to a hair appointment. It felt like I was nonstop all day!

Friday-full body strength

Finished week 3 of Andy’s advanced split and then jumped into the car to head to Philly for The weekend-into the Eagle’s nest.

Saturday-walk around the city 15K+ steps

I met a friend for coffee and breakfast and oh so many steps around the city on a beautiful sunny day.

As you read this today-I am either tailgating or watching our Philadelphia Eagles play. Going to an NFL game in Philly is always an experience!

That DC sunset is spectacular! Enjoy your day at the game! Maybe I’ll cheer for the Eagles because the Bears are terrible this year (again!).

Enjoy your day in the “Nest” 😉 I’ve been an Eagles fan most of my life (long story, LOL), so I’ll be cheering for them as well. LOVE that sunset pic!

    That sunset photo is stunning!

What a busy week! I’m sure you’re exhausted from all the running around and workouts!

While I no longer really watch football, I do miss the tailgating experience. It’s so fun to cook and grill and set up the party before and after the game. I hope you have a great time!

Hope it’s a fun day at the game! I think it’s been 2 weeks since it’s rained around here. Maybe we’ll get some of that rain soon! Everyone has dead lawns. That’s a brilliant sunset!

Oh, how fun! I’m glad someone’s enjoying the NFL season this year- the Dolphins are having a tough time.
Nice job on all those strength classes! I can see how it would get progressively harder as the week goes on and the DOMS set in.
    Wow, that photo- amazing!
