November 2025 Ultimate Coffee Date

If we were having coffee this November 2025…

I would share that I am loving these cooler temps. I resist turning on the heat in the house for as long as possible for a few reasons. First, there is always a flip flop in the weather and it gets too hot too fast. Turning on the heat also requires me turning on the humidifiers and dealing with dry skin.

I’ve also come to really enjoy sleeping in cooler weather. A few times last week I awoke to a 63 degree temperature in our bedroom. I love it! I’ve realize how well I sleep in cooler temps and my Oura scores back that up. At the same time, my husband is shivering under 3 blankets. Ha, how long can I hold him off of the heat?

I’m not all bad, I did acquiesce and let him turn on the heat downstairs in the kitchen and family room. I would ask you if you like your house nice and toasty or a little chilly? Me? As you can tell, I love it cool and love to wear my cozy clothes.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you…

November is my favorite month! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I love having a full house with all the chaos that brings. Setting my Thanksgiving table brings me joy. Both my husband and I have our birthday next week and we also have my niece’s bat mitzvah to celebrate. November should be a month with lots of happy gatherings of family and friends. This time of the year just flies by and I am trying to stay present and enjoy it all!

About Deborah Brooks

Hi I'm Deborah! I spend my days successfully raising a husband & 2 teens in the VA/DC area. I am a lover of all things running & fitness. As a life long vegetarian, I've always been passionate about healthy living & exercise. Looking for partners in crime, I started my own chapter of Moms Run This Town (MRTT) which has grown to over 700 members. I've met so many amazing women who inspire me daily to keep moving forward. You can usually find me running with my crew and training for the next crazy adventure they talked me into. I love to keep up to date on new running & fitness trends. I definitely choose my running gear based on color and love to express my fashion sense while exercising.

I’m the same – our poor husbands! Mine asked a couple of nights ago when I planned to put an extra blanket on the bed. Ummm, no time soon! I really should get a twin sized blanket to put on his side of the bed only.

I love November as well for the same reasons as you – Thanksgiving and my birthday! Happy early birthday to you, birthday buddy!

Ha mine does have an extra smaller blanket only on his side of the bed! They can always sleep with another layer. Happy birthday month to you as well!

As much as I like the heat, I don’t mind sleeping in slightly cooler temps. I love the comfort of a warm blanket (or several). So cozy!!!

      yes it’s the best!

I miss the heat! I miss the warmer mornings and not having to bundle up to workout. I do not mind snuggling with a blanket, but my husband keeps the house so cold in the summer that I end up wearing the same clothes (and blankets) around the house in the summer as in the winter.

Ha ha I also keep the house cold all year around!

Yes, I love a chilly house as well. I sleep with the window cracked open for as long as possible. Sleep is SO much better! Thankfully hubby likes it cool as well. I do love this time of year. Have fu with all the happy gatherings!

I sleep so much better in a cooler room-it’s the best. Enjoy having all the kids home together

I much prefer a chilly house – especially for sleeping! Also a great excuse to light our fireplace.

Enjoy your birthday and family time!

I’m with you on cool weather for sleeping. Our building has forced heat so the best time for sleeping is in the dead of winter when some cool are gets in through the AC – lol.

I’m not a big Thanksgiving fan but I’m excited to go to my brother’s in Milwaukee this year because it will be fun and he’s a professional chef 😉

The forced heat can be a challenge when the weather flip flops for sure. I bet your Thanksgiving will be delish!

We’re been using our fireplace already.

The cooler temps ae fine but the WIND!!! Holy cow!

Wow it is still not cold enough for a fireplace yet! Maybe Thanksgiving

    Happy birthday month!

I like sleeping in cool temperatures but hate getting out of bed when it’s cold! Snuggling under the covers is the best!

happy birthday month to you as well!

We hold off on the heat as well. However, with the humidity, we do need it when the temps dip into the 40s. It is drying, but also cozy.

Thanksgiving is ok. I enjoy the cooking and the gathering, but it’s probably the last of my favorite winter/fall holidays. I hope yours is wonderful.

I also enjoy the cooking and gathering-not so much the cleanup!

haha, I would be the one shivering under a thousand blankets. I like things as toasty as possible, but I usually just bundle up in a bunch of layers since I’m too cheap to turn on the heat. :D..

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays too! Getting together with loved ones + delicious food = so hard not to love. <3

    Happy birthday month!
